Denver Officer Henry Soni Arrested on Suspicion of On-Duty Sexual Assault, Separate Misconduct Counts

Police say Soni was taken into custody Thursday on seven investigative charges tied to two unrelated cases.
The alleged sexual assault occurred Nov. 4 while Soni was on duty but not responding to a call for service.
In a separate case, investigative counts include attempt to influence a public servant, forgery, tampering with physical evidence, and first-degree official misconduct.
Soni was ordered to remain at home for shifts beginning Nov. 5 and was suspended without pay following his arrest.
DPD says its administrative review will begin after the criminal case concludes and asks anyone with information to call 720-913-2000.
