  • The IMD flagged dense fog over Delhi-NCR as visibility fell to roughly 50–150 metres, while CPCB readings put the city's AQI in the severe range with many stations above 400.
  • Delhi airport said low-visibility CAT III procedures are in effect, cautioning that delays and cancellations are likely and advising passengers to confirm flight status before travel.
  • By about 8:45 am, FlightRadar24 data showed at least 144 departures and 51 arrivals delayed at IGI with six cancellations, and multiple diversions were reported including an Air India Express flight routed to Ahmedabad.
  • IndiGo, Air India and SpiceJet issued weather advisories and offered support such as IndiGo Plan B and Air India FogCare for rebooking or refunds, as the DGCA’s seasonal fog window remains in force.
  • Rail traffic across northern India ran hours late as safety measures slowed services, and authorities including AAI deployed passenger facilitation teams at affected airports.
