Democratic Voters in Pennsylvania Switching to GOP at Higher Rate

Despite the trend, Democrats still outnumber Republicans by nearly half a million in the state ahead of 2024 elections.

Democratic voters in Pennsylvania are increasingly switching to the Republican Party ahead of the 2024 election, with over 35,000 making the switch this year.
Conversely, only 15,622 Republican voters in Pennsylvania have switched to the Democratic Party in 2023.
Both parties have also seen a significant number of voters withdraw from their ranks, with approximately 20,900 Democrats and 18,900 Republicans becoming unaffiliated.
Despite these shifts, Pennsylvania still has nearly half a million more Democratic voters than Republican voters ahead of 2024.
