Delta Reveals 'Distinctly Delta' Uniforms, Returning to Navy and Red With 2027 Rollout

Delta positions the line as a comfort- and safety-first reset after mixed reviews of 2018's 'Passport Plum' uniforms.

Overview

  • Distinctly Delta spans four lines for above- and below-wing employees and introduces an Elite Collection that unifies premium roles such as Red Coats, Sky Club ambassadors and pursers.
  • Produced by Lands' End and shaped by feedback from 65,000 uniformed employees, the designs add practical touches like deeper and hidden pockets, technical layering and a reimagined wrap dress.
  • The palette brings back Navigator Navy, Boarding Burgundy and Runway Red, with a Powerful Pink option worn each October to support Delta’s Breast Cancer Research Foundation partnership.
  • Accessories come from Missoni, which is supplying scarves, ties and pocket squares, and Bombas will provide branded socks for both above- and below-wing teams.
  • Delta says all garments meet safety standards including STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX, with wear-testing starting in summer 2026 ahead of full adoption in 2027, following past complaints about the 2018 uniforms and a recent appellate ruling upholding summary judgment for the defense.
