Delhi University Opens Mid-Entry Window as UG Admissions Reach 99.3% Seat Utilization

Eligible candidates can re-enter the Common Seat Allocation System by paying a fee until August 10 to vie for vacant spots before the next allocation rounds.

  • Delhi University has confirmed 71,130 of 71,624 undergraduate seats for 2025–26 following the third CSAS allocation round, fulfilling 99.3% of its capacity.
  • The mid-entry application window launches today at 5 PM and remains open until 4:59 PM on August 10 for those who missed Phase I or II or faced application rejections.
  • Applicants using the mid-entry provision must pay a non-refundable ₹1,000 fee and can correct subject mapping errors or update their college and course preferences.
  • The next general CSAS seat list will be published on August 13, with performance-based and reserved category allocations due on August 15 and the admission cycle concluding on August 19.
  • In Round 3, 34,069 candidates requested preference upgrades, 35,889 froze their allotments, and 5,930 students secured higher-preference seats through the upgrade process.
