Delhi University Launches On-the-Spot Mop-Up Round for UG Seats With Registration From Sept. 17–19

The university will use Class XII marks in a final in-person push to fill roughly 7,000 vacant undergraduate seats.

Overview

  • Admissions in this round will be based on Class XII marks rather than CUET scores.
  • Only applicants not already admitted to any DU programme may participate, with fresh registrants paying a one-time Rs 1,000 fee.
  • Officials indicate about 7,000–7,500 seats remain unfilled across colleges and programmes.
  • Allocations are tentatively set to begin on September 23, with invitation letters emailed and in-person reporting required with original documents.
  • Seat offers will be final and confirmed only after immediate online fee payment, and failure to pay or document discrepancies will lead to cancellation.
