Delhi University Celebrates 101st Convocation with Over 166,000 Digital Degrees Awarded

Delhi University awarded digital degrees to 166,494 students, including 82,592 from the School of Open Learning and 83,902 from regular and NCWEB programs.
Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, the chief guest, urged students to contribute to making Delhi the world's knowledge hub.
The convocation saw the distribution of 194 medals and prizes, with 159 gold medals awarded to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
A total of 623 PhD degrees were conferred, with nearly equal representation of male and female recipients.
Pradhan praised DU's pioneering implementation of the National Education Policy 2020 and its commitment to shaping India's intellectual and professional future.
