Overview

  • The one‑time ‘special chance’ permits eligible former students to reappear in up to four papers, limited to UG cohorts from 2012–2019 and PG cohorts from 2012–2020.
  • Applicants must file online by September 15 with a non‑refundable ₹5,000 fee per paper, upload prior mark sheets, and obtain departmental or institutional approval.
  • DU confirmed 68,116 UG admissions after the upgradation cycle, including 7,685 upgrades, while 46,257 candidates froze their earlier seats and 2,808 allocations were made in performance‑based and supernumerary categories.
  • For the current CSAS phase, candidates must accept allocation by 4:59 pm on August 23, colleges must verify by 11:59 pm the same day, and online fee payment closes on August 24.
  • A vacant‑seat list will be published at 5 pm on August 25, Spot Round applications run through August 27, allotments post on August 28, with confirmations due August 29 and fees due August 30.
