  • On June 26, 2025, DU Vice Chancellor Yogesh Singh and University of Leeds President Shearer West signed the MoU at Delhi University’s Vice Regal Lodge
  • Under the twinning programme, students from both institutions will be able to spend a semester abroad to gain international academic experience
  • The agreement lays the groundwork for faculty mobility, including appointing Leeds academics as adjunct faculty at Delhi University
  • It builds on April’s symposium in Delhi on social science research methods to deepen joint research projects and interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Both universities plan to unveil detailed co-hosted academic programmes, resource-sharing initiatives and further exchange activities in the coming months
