- A multi-layer cordon is in place with Delhi Police and paramilitary forces, 24/7 CCTV linked to facial recognition, specialised anti-drone units and sniper teams on high-rises, plus district-wide verification of hotels, tenants and domestic staff.
- Parade rehearsals run January 19–21, with Kartavya Path from Vijay Chowk to India Gate closed 10:15 am–12:30 pm and diversions at Rafi Marg, Janpath, Mansingh Road and C‑Hexagon crossings.
