Overview
- Delhi currently has just 0.47 hospital beds per 1,000 people against the WHO’s two-bed minimum and plans to reach three beds per 1,000 by expanding capacity.
- The government will upgrade existing hospitals and build new facilities to meet its three-bed-per-1,000 target.
