Delhi Student Arrested for Murdering Family Over Property and Resentment

The killings were motivated by resentment towards his father over frequent scoldings, perceived favoritism toward his sister, and the planned transfer of family property to her.
Arjun used an army knife belonging to his father to commit the murders, slitting the throats of his family members while they slept early in the morning.
He staged an alibi by leaving the house for a morning walk and later calling the police to report the crime, but inconsistencies in his statements led to his confession.
Key evidence, including the murder weapon and blood-stained clothes, was recovered from a nearby forest where Arjun had disposed of them after the killings.
