- Delhi’s IT Department said in an advisory that the single eOffice will be divided into three dedicated platforms, with urgent work due by 6 pm on April 10.
- The plan includes a short outage for data migration, with portals restarting on April 13 for departments, April 15 for PSUs and local bodies, and April 17 for universities.
- One platform will serve core government departments, a second will handle PSUs, autonomous bodies and civic agencies, and a third will be for universities and academic institutions.
- Officials say the change will cut congestion, improve performance and stability, and keep each group’s records in a separate, more secure environment.
- eOffice, built by the National Informatics Centre as a paperless file and workflow tool, has until now run as a single shared system across Delhi government offices.
