Overview

• Traffic was halted on the Singhola flyover and both carriageways were closed after a cave-in formed a large pothole, with vehicles diverted via Mukarba Chowk on NH-44 and Bakoli village–UER-II.
• An autorickshaw driver identified as Umesh was injured in the collapse and was taken to Raja Harish Chandra Hospital after his vehicle was heavily damaged.
• The Old Wazirabad Bridge was closed to vehicles after overflow at Soor Ghat flooded the adjoining drain bridge, police said.
• Waterlogging linked to the swollen Yamuna was reported on the Outer Ring Road between Majnu Ka Tila and the Ring Road bypass, prompting diversions at Wazirabad, Chandgi Ram Akhada, ITO Chowk, Rajghat, Shanti Van, and the Indraprastha Flyover.
• Police routed traffic through Signature Bridge, Khajuri Chowk, Khyber Pass, Rajpur Road, Shamnath Marg, and Geeta Colony Flyover, and urged commuters to follow on-ground directions and consider the Metro.
