Delhi Schools Release First Merit List for Nursery, KG, and Class 1 Admissions

Parents have until January 27 to resolve queries, with a second merit list scheduled for February 3.

The first merit list for nursery, kindergarten (KG), and Class 1 admissions in Delhi's private unaided schools was released on January 17, 2025.
Around 1,741 schools have published their lists, which include selected candidates and waitlisted students, with selections based on a points system considering proximity, siblings, and alumni connections.
Parents can resolve queries regarding the first list between January 18 and January 27, with the second merit list set to be released on February 3.
Twenty-five percent of seats are reserved for students from Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), Disadvantaged Groups (DG), and children with disabilities, with a separate process for these admissions.
The final merit list, if needed, will be published on February 26, and the entire admission process is expected to conclude by March 14, 2025.
