Delhi SCERT Forms 10-Member Panel to Review Podcasts and E-Content Before YouTube Release

The move signals tighter quality control for Delhi's teacher-made digital lessons under NEP 2020 standards.

Overview

  • The order, issued April 17, sets up a committee to screen all SCERT and DIET-produced podcasts and e-learning modules before upload to the SCERT Studio YouTube channel.
  • Each item will be scored on three 10-point criteria that cover alignment with NEP 2020 and departmental guidelines, academic relevance and accuracy, and audio-visual quality and presentation.
  • Reviews will end with a clear call to approve, send back for revisions, or reject, with specific suggestions to fix any gaps before release.
  • The panel is chaired by the SCERT secretary and joint director and includes Directorate of Education officials, DIET principals, SCERT headquarters faculty, and CIET faculty from NCERT.
  • SCERT serves as Delhi’s state academic authority for curriculum and teacher training, and the new check could slow uploads slightly while giving creators clear benchmarks and boosting the credibility of the content students and teachers rely on.
