Delhi Salon Shooter Arrested After Months on the Run in Europe
Harsh, a 22-year-old gang member, was apprehended at Delhi Airport after fleeing abroad using a fake passport following a double murder in February.
- Harsh, also known as Chintu, was arrested at Indira Gandhi International Airport while attempting to arrange another fake passport after months of evading authorities.
- He is accused of murdering Sonu Tehlan and Ashish Tehlan in a Najafgarh salon on February 9, allegedly over suspicions they were leaking information about him.
- Harsh fled India in June using a fake passport and stayed in countries including Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Turkey, with his travel funded by fugitive gangster Monty Mann, believed to be in California.
- Authorities issued a Red Corner notice through Interpol after discovering Harsh was extorting businessmen in Delhi while hiding abroad under orders from the Gogi gang.
- His associate, Sanjeev Dahiya, also implicated in the double murder, remains at large and is reportedly hiding in Austria.
