Overview
- The expansion covers Lajpat Nagar–Saket G-Block (8.385 km, eight elevated stations), Inderlok–Indraprastha (12.377 km, 10 stations with one elevated and nine underground), and Rithala–Kundli (26.463 km, 21 stations).
- The total project cost is Rs 14,630.80 crore, with Delhi’s contribution set at Rs 3,386.18 crore.
- Lajpat Nagar–Saket and Inderlok–Indraprastha are under a combined financial framework costing Rs 8,399.81 crore, of which Delhi will fund Rs 1,987.86 crore.
- The Rithala–Kundli line is budgeted at Rs 6,230.99 crore with Rs 5,685.22 crore to be spent in Delhi and Rs 545.77 crore in Haryana, and Delhi’s share pegged at Rs 1,398.32 crore.
