  • The gang swapped contents using identical black and blue bags and blended in as cloth merchants on busy trains to carry out thefts.
  • Police recovered multiple bags—including three confirmed stolen trolleys—four backpacks, five handbags, two mobile phones and Rs 47,000 in cash, plus four more trolleys pending verification.
  • Investigators say the group used safe houses near the Badarpur-Faridabad border to stash stolen goods before fencing them in grey markets.
  • Detectives are analysing seized phones, SIM swaps and hotel records to dismantle the gang’s interstate network.
