Delhi PWD Tenders Feasibility Studies for SSN Marg Corridor and Three Outer Ring Road Flyovers

Six-month feasibility reports by hired consultants will set scope, costs, timelines, required clearances.

Overview

  • On SSN Marg in Chhatarpur, the PWD has invited bids to study a 3‑km integrated transit corridor featuring a flyover, slip roads, and either an underpass or a foot overbridge.
  • The SSN Marg study will map encroachments, utilities, and trees, assess integration with the parallel metro line, and deliver a cost–benefit analysis before any work is awarded.
  • Separate tenders cover three Outer Ring Road flyovers: Kanjhawala Chowk–Mangolpuri with a link to UER‑II, Keshopur Depot–Haiderpur along the Supplementary Drain, and SagarpurMayapuri.
  • The Outer Ring Road studies total about ₹10 crore, with corridor lengths of roughly 10 km, 17.5 km, and 4.3 km and documented constraints including a Tihar Jail boundary, a high‑tension line, variable ROW, and hundreds of roadside trees.
  • All projects remain at the feasibility stage and will require approvals from bodies such as UTTIPEC, DUAC, and the forest department before any land acquisition or construction can proceed.
