Overview
- Online applications for classes 6–8 must be submitted by 11:59 pm on August 22 via the Delhi Directorate of Education portal.
- The OMR-based entrance exam is set for September 6 from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm with no negative marking; admit cards will be available from August 23, results released on September 10 and final admissions by September 15.
- The 2025–26 cohort will open in 33 of the 75 selected schools equipped with AI-enabled libraries, AR/VR smart classrooms, robotics labs and sustainable campus features.
- The programme phases out the Delhi Board of School Education in favour of CBSE affiliation and is funded by a Rs 100 crore allocation.
- Seats are reserved to ensure equity, with at least 50% set aside for government or government-aided school students and a 5% qualifying marks relaxation for SC/ST/OBC and differently abled applicants.
