Overview

  • The second edition of the DPL began on August 2 at Arun Jaitley Stadium and will run through August 31 with a grand finale.
  • The men’s competition has expanded from six to eight teams with the introduction of Outer Delhi Warriors and New Delhi Tigers.
  • A dedicated women’s tournament featuring four teams and seven matches is set to take place from August 17 to 24.
  • Squads were finalized through July auctions that saw over 520 players go under the hammer, including top bids of ₹39 lakh for Simarjeet Singh and ₹38 lakh for Digvesh Rathi.
  • All matches will stream live on the FanCode app and website, while Rishabh Pant’s participation remains doubtful after a foot fracture.
