Overview

• Officers crossed roughly 3 km of waterlogged fields, with water 3 to 8 feet deep, to reach the Anerda Garhi village site near the Yamuna.
• Police arrested Shiv Charan, 60, who was caught after allegedly trying to flee through the flooded fields.
• The raid recovered 14 country-made pistols, one musket, raw material for over 350 pistols, 50 barrels, 28 barrel pipes, wooden handles, and manufacturing machinery.
• During questioning, Charan said he earlier worked with Hanvir, recently held in an Aligarh raid, with supplies routed through him and profits shared.
• Delhi Police say further investigation is underway to identify additional syndicate members and trace distribution routes.
