Overview

• Vivek Gupta, 19, was fatally stabbed and his cousin Aman Gupta, 21, was critically injured in the early hours of Saturday in Khirki Extension, South Delhi.
• CCTV footage showed four knife-wielding assailants attacking the cousins and later linked the same group to the robbery of a delivery rider’s scooter around 2:53 am.
• Four suspects aged 15 to 17 from the same neighborhood were identified through CCTV and local inputs and have been apprehended, with raids continuing to trace others.
• Cases for murder, attempt to murder, and armed robbery have been registered at Malviya Nagar police station under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
• Aman is being treated at AIIMS Trauma Centre, while investigators say the victims and accused knew each other and were part of rival local groups.
