Delhi Police Deport 29 Overstaying Foreign Nationals from Dwarka
Intelligence-driven June raids in Dwarka produced overstaying migrants before the FRRO, which ordered their deportation to a detention centre.

- The Delhi Police on July 7 announced that 29 individuals found without valid visas in Dwarka during June operations have been deported.
- Eighteen of the deportees were Bangladeshi nationals and 11 were from African countries such as Nigeria, Liberia, Ivory Coast, Benin and Tanzania.
- The sweep was led by the Special Staff along with local stations including Dabri and Mohan Garden based on intelligence gathering about illegal residents.
- All those detained were presented to the Foreigners Regional Registration Office, which issued formal deportation orders and sent them to a detention centre.
- Deputy Commissioner Ankit Singh said the crackdown aims to ease strains on public resources and signalled that similar operations will continue.
