Overview

• The Crime Branch arrested Bhushan Verma in Hapur, Uttar Pradesh, and officials said the stolen gold-and-gem kalash was recovered at his instance.
• Investigators identified the accused from CCTV that showed a man in dhoti-kurta posing as a Jain priest, lifting the vessel and leaving with it in a bag.
