Overview

  • The August 19 break-in at a Mansarovar Park home was reported to MS Park police with losses of about ₹30,000 in cash and gold and diamond jewellery worth a few lakh rupees.
  • Investigators reviewed CCTV from the area showing two men posing as hawkers on a scooter, with one distracting at the doorstep while the other entered the house.
  • Police traced the scooter to Ravish of Ghaziabad and arrested 24-year-old Mohammad Salman in Sunder Nagri in the early hours of August 23, seizing the vehicle.
  • Ravish and his brother Suhail, whom police describe as having a criminal past, remain missing as search operations continue.
  • Raids at suspected hideouts in Sunder Nagri, Pasonda and Dasna have yet to locate the pair, and technical as well as human intelligence efforts are ongoing.
