- Sachin Khatri was apprehended on June 6 in Narela, Delhi, after a tip-off led Crime Branch officers to his hideout.
- He is wanted in at least four major criminal cases covering extortion, assault and illegal arms possession.
- In one incident, he and an associate fired shots at a woman’s residence to demand money and in another he helped loot Rs 5 lakh from a property dealer’s Alipur office under orders from a fugitive handler.
- He was also named in a Crime Branch case under the Arms Act and accused of attacking a complainant to pressure him into dropping an extortion charge.
- Delhi Police say the 26-year-old school drop-out was drawn into the Gogi gang as a youth and grew into a key figure in organised crime across Delhi-NCR, Haryana and Rajasthan.
