Delhi Police Arrest Four in Pratap Nagar Double Murder

Overview

  • Sudhir Kumar alias Bunty, 35, and Radhey Prajapati, 30, were shot on September 5 in C-Block, Pratap Nagar, and died during treatment at GTB Hospital.
  • The arrested men were identified as Chetanya Tomar alias Tashu Tomar, 18, Pradeep Bhati, 22, Pawan Bhati alias Dagga, 24, and Pramod, 25.
  • Investigators recovered a semi-automatic pistol, a country-made pistol with a live cartridge, and two motorcycles, including one without a number plate.
  • Police said the accused confessed during interrogation and attributed the killings to an old enmity with the victims.
  • Raids are underway to trace at least two more suspects as a case under BNS Sections 103(1) and 3(5) and the Arms Act proceeds, with forensic teams having examined the crime scene and one accused linked to nine prior cases.
