Overview

• On May 16 at around 1:40 am, Vikas, a 23-year-old chef, was struck while walking his broken-down motorcycle near Subhash Nagar Metro Station
• He was taken to Guru Gobind Singh Hospital and later referred to Safdarjung Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries on May 19
• A police team reviewed CCTV recordings from the intersection to narrow down vehicles present at the time of the accident
• Manish Kumar, 37, of Naraina Village, was arrested on June 11 and his car has been seized by authorities
• Delhi Police have registered a case against the accused and say the investigation into the fatal collision is ongoing
