Overview
- A police tip-off led officers to intercept Suhail, a Haryana native, near Suhera Chowk in Najafgarh at around 10:50 pm on June 11.
- During the interception, he fired several rounds and was hit in the leg by return fire before being hospitalised at Rao Tula Ram Memorial Hospital.
- Suhail is named in two cases for land grabbing and firing at Jaffarpur Kalan police station.
- The arrest follows a series of intelligence-led Special Cell actions this month, including the May 30 killing of Lawrence Bishnoi gang sharpshooter Naveen Kasana and the June 3 arrest of Himanshu Bhau associate Deepak Dhankar.
- Special Cell officers also exchanged fire with Sachin aka Golu on May 14 as part of a broader campaign to dismantle organised crime gangs across Delhi-NCR.
