• Sujeet Mandal, 32, was struck near his workplace in Phase-1, Badli Industrial Area at about 7:10 pm on Saturday.
• CCTV footage shows he was trapped under a red car, dragged roughly half a kilometre, and the driver continued driving after the body fell away.
• Police tracked the vehicle’s route and apprehended the alleged driver in Rohini after more than six hours.
• The minor told officers a passerby warned him someone was wedged under the car, but he drove on out of fear of being beaten by the public.
• Police registered a case of culpable homicide not amounting to murder, and investigators preserved blood samples and a pair of black slippers from the scene.
