Delhi Opens Token Window for Sept. 13 Lok Adalat to Settle Traffic Challans

Seven court complexes will hear cases from 10 am to 4 pm, with capped daily challan downloads.

  • The National Lok Adalat is set for Saturday, September 13, to dispose of pending compoundable traffic challans and notices.
  • Proceedings will run at Patiala House, Karkardooma, Rouse Avenue, Tis Hazari, Dwarka, Saket, and Rohini court complexes.
  • The Delhi Traffic Police portal began allowing challan and notice downloads at 10 am on September 8, limited to 60,000 per day and 1,80,000 in total.
  • Only compoundable offences are eligible, with per‑vehicle caps of up to five notices and two challans for private vehicles and two in total for commercial vehicles.
  • Motorists should carry a printed token or appointment, the challan copy, the vehicle RC and owner ID, and verify disposal on Parivahan after payment.
