Overview
- The festival runs October 9–11 and features more than 100 stalls showcasing MSMEs, artisans, self-help groups and One District One Product exhibitors.
- Organized by the Department of Industries and DSIIDC, the showcase includes PM Formalisation of Food Processing Enterprises participants and two stalls from Tihar Jail.
- Chief Minister Rekha Gupta urged a 'Swadeshi Diwali,' calling purchases of Indian-made goods an expression of patriotism and a step toward self-reliance.
- Gupta said Delhi will back district-level industries on an ODOP model and pursue reforms to the Delhi Khadi and Village Industries Board to revive village trades.
- In remarks at IMC 2025, she linked the Swadeshi push to domestic production of semiconductors and mobile phones and emphasized opportunities for women innovators.
