Overview
- The STEM Innovation Lab at Sarvodaya Vidyalaya in Pitampura was inaugurated by Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Thursday as a new site for practical science and technology learning.
- Organisers said the lab was set up through a public–private partnership led by the Shikhar Dhawan Foundation, Da One Group and HMD under CSR and philanthropic support.
- According to an official release, the facility is equipped with modern learning tools and is expected to benefit more than 2,500 students through hands-on, application-based STEM activities.
- Gupta used the launch to stress the government’s intent to equip every government school with digital technology and innovation resources and linked the push to the Viksit Bharat 2047 vision.
- The project follows a Memorandum of Understanding between Da One Group and the Delhi Directorate of Education and is being positioned as a scalable pilot whose rollout details, funding and evaluation plans have yet to be published.
