Delhi Officer Receives Rs 10 Crore Extortion Demand from Fugitive ‘Bhau’ Gang’s Aide

  • Sahil Ritoli, a known associate of fugitive gangster Himanshu alias Bhau, placed two calls demanding ₹10 crore and warning the head constable that his family would be targeted.
  • The caller invoked the slain ex-constable Manjit Ahlawat’s name to reinforce threats after Ahlawat refused a similar demand in December 2024.
  • A purported video of the extortion call has emerged, capturing the audio threat and the constable’s defiant response challenging the demand.
  • Authorities at Vikaspuri Police Station lodged the FIR on July 8 under Section 308 (4) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and have made no arrests to date.
  • Himanshu alias Bhau, who faces over 18 criminal cases and an Interpol Red Notice, is believed to be orchestrating the racket from Portugal via encrypted messaging.
