The official advisory is in effect from Monday afternoon to Tuesday morning with road closures and diversions near major ghats across Delhi. Timed curbs include a ban on commercial vehicles on GT Road from Shastri Park to Yudhishthir Setu between 5–7 pm on Oct 27 and 5–7 am on Oct 28, with the Shantivan Loop and Laxmi Nagar–Kailash Nagar stretch also shut during those windows. Crowd estimates cite over 45,000 at several East Delhi ghats, more than one lakh at Shyam Ghat in Jagatpur, and 2.5–3 lakh at Bhola Ghat in Kalindi Kunj. Roadside parking near ghats is prohibited with vehicles directed to designated lots, and routes to major railway stations and ISBTs remain open though delays are possible. Noida police inspected key artificial ghats and strengthened deployment and emergency readiness as civic teams completed cleaning, lighting, barricading, and temporary facility installations.
