Overview

  • DMRC floated the May 20 tender for design and construction of twin TBM tunnels, cut-and-cover ramps and four underground stations at Dayabasti, Sarai Rohilla, Ajmal Khan Park and Jhandewalan Mandir, plus entry works at Nabi Karim.
  • The 12.3 km extension will feature 10 new stations—11.3 km underground and a 1 km elevated stretch—offering five interchanges with Red, Magenta, Yellow, Violet and Blue lines.
  • Bidders must submit ₹240 million as security and commit to a 42-month completion period, with proposals due by July 8, 2025.
  • This phase-4 corridor is part of a broader ₹14,600 crore expansion across six lines, with ₹6,252.91 crore of JICA financing allocated to three remaining corridors.
  • Scheduled for delivery by March 2029, the link aims to boost connectivity from Haryana’s Bahadurgarh into central and east Delhi via the Green Line.
