Overview
- Industries Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa unveiled the first Delhi Industrial Ideathon 2025, to be organized by DSIIDC in collaboration with the Department of Industries
- More than 120 student teams from over 30 leading institutions will compete in a two-day innovation sprint
- Each team of two to four students must include at least one female participant and is encouraged to combine multiple academic disciplines
- Projects will address Traditional and Village Industries, Frontier Technologies, Green Technologies and Trade & Logistics and be judged on innovation, feasibility, relevance and impact
- A total prize pool exceeding Rs 80 lakh will award Rs 10 lakh to the winner plus mentoring and potential state-agency partnerships for implementation
