Overview
- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, joined by Transport Minister Dr Pankaj Kumar Singh, flagged off three buses from Kashmere Gate for the new Delhi–Sonipat service on Thursday.
- The route will run six trips daily, with three services in each direction.
- Buses connect key stops from GTB Nagar and Mukarba Chowk to Singhu Border, Kundli, Rai and Sonipat Bus Stand.
- The electric coaches feature air-conditioning, CCTV, panic buttons and GPS tracking.
- The government framed the rollout as a step to cut congestion and pollution, build DTC revenue, and pave the way for restoring more interstate routes after the earlier Delhi–Baraut launch.
