Overview

• On August 1, the Delhi Lt. Governor and Services-I Branch approved an immediate-effect order transferring and reassigning 23 senior IAS and DANICS officers across the city administration.
• Sandeep Kumar, currently Principal Secretary (Vigilance), was also given additional charge of IT, while Vikas Anand will add Information and Publicity to his duties and Dilraj Kaur takes over Social Welfare with SC/ST/OBC Welfare charge.
• Finance Secretary Shurbir Singh retains his General Administration Department and Power portfolios under a concurrent-charge arrangement designed to bridge leadership gaps.
• Senior DANICS officer Sravan Bagaria has been appointed District Magistrate of South-East Delhi alongside other district-level reassignments to reinforce local administration.
• All concerned departments have been directed to implement the new postings without delay, highlighting the L-G’s centralized authority in executing bureaucratic reshuffles.
