Overview
- Traffic will be regulated from 4 am to about 9 am, with some restrictions extending to 9:30 am near Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.
- Heavy vehicles from Sewa Nagar, Jor Bagh and INA will be rerouted at Mehar Chand Market toward Aurobindo Marg via 4th Avenue Road and Sewa Nagar Market Road.
- At the Kotla red light, vehicles from Kotla Mubarakpur Gurudwara, Defence Colony Market and Andrews Ganj will be diverted to Defence Colony Market Road.
- Approaches near Roundabout Gate No. 17 will send traffic from Dayal Singh College and Pragati Vihar to Lala Lajpat Rai Marg via the CGO Complex signal, with heavy vehicles restricted along Bhisham Pitamah Marg.
- Congestion is expected on BP Marg, CGO Complex Road and the 2nd and 4th Avenue corridors, and emergency vehicles have free passage but are advised to avoid BP Marg and CGO Complex Road.
