Overview
- The 1.4–1.55 km flyover, built by the PWD for about ₹180 crore, is designed to decongest the Nand Nagri–Gagan Cinema junction.
- Government estimates project more than 100,000 daily vehicles using the link with average time savings of roughly 14 minutes per trip.
- Chief Minister Rekha Gupta also launched 300 DEVI electric buses, with 21 Trans‑Yamuna routes mapped by IIT Delhi to cover 625 stops.
- Ministers said the opening ran 12–16 months late due to clearances, including permissions to relocate 27 trees and utility shifts.
- A DMRC double‑decker stretch and a proposed underpass at the Loni roundabout are planned to complete the signal‑free corridor, with a foot overbridge near the flyover approved.
