  • Police arrested Shabab Ali, 47, along with associates Shahrukh Khan and Tanveer, in the alleged poisoning death of Ali’s 30-year-old wife in South Delhi.
  • Ali confessed to administering sleeping pills and a poisonous weedicide on August 2 after suspecting infidelity, according to DCP (South) Ankit Chauhan.
  • Investigators say the body was buried in the Chandanholla graveyard during the night of August 2–3 and was exhumed on August 15 with Sub-Divisional Magistrate approval.
  • Technical surveillance and CCTV footage showed the woman being moved in an unconscious state, and the car used in the crime was recovered from Shahrukh Khan.
  • The case began with an August 10 missing-person complaint; three suspects are in custody, one remains absconding, and the autopsy will determine the exact cause of death.
