Delhi Gym Owner Murdered Over Gang Extortion Dispute

Nadir Shah, a 35-year-old gym owner of Afghan origin, was shot dead outside his gym in Greater Kailash-1, South Delhi.
The murder was captured on CCTV, showing the shooter firing multiple rounds at Shah before fleeing on a motorcycle.
Shah had refused to pay Rs 5 crore demanded by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, which allegedly led to his targeting and subsequent murder.
Five individuals have been arrested, but the main shooter and two accomplices remain at large; police are seeking custody of jailed gang leaders Lawrence Bishnoi and Hashim Baba.
Shah, who also had businesses in Dubai and a criminal history, was suspected of being a police informer, contributing to the gang's motive for his killing.
