Overview
- The Delhi government released Rs 108 crore as the third instalment of grant-in-aid for 12 fully funded Delhi University–affiliated colleges.
- Delhi Education Minister Ashish Sood said the funds cover teachers’ and staff salaries, building maintenance and essential capital expenditures.
- A separate allocation of about Rs 24 crore was issued for immediate needs such as maintenance, electricity and water facilities.
- With the latest transfer, total disbursements to these colleges in the 2025–26 financial year rise to Rs 325 crore.
