Overview

• Delhi government has secured formal approval for a Rs 1.2 crore relief package to assist the 24 artisans affected by the April 30 fire at Dilli Haat INA.
• Each artisan will receive an ex gratia payment of Rs 5 lakh under the approved package.
• Officials expect the financial aid to be disbursed to beneficiaries shortly.
• A six-month free stall allotment at Dilli Haat INA will be available to the affected artisans from July 1 to December 31, 2025.
• The free stalls will be allocated through a lottery system designed to uphold transparency and fairness.
