Overview

  • A government order, cleared by Lt Governor V. K. Saxena, permits loudspeakers and public address systems until 12 am from September 22 to October 3.
  • The relaxation adds two hours to Delhi’s usual 10 pm cutoff and is restricted to Ramlila, Durga Puja, Dussehra and related programmes.
  • Organisers must follow Noise Pollution Rules, keep residential sound at or below 45 dB(A), and secure all required police and civic permissions.
