Overview

• Application forms are available online or by sending a demand draft of Rs 600, with a Rs 555 fee for SC/ST candidates presenting a valid caste certificate.
• Candidates must be between 11 years 6 months and 13 years old on July 1, 2026, and either studying in or having completed Class 7; the test is open to both boys and girls.
• Completed applications and supporting documents must arrive at the Directorate of Education’s Examination Cell by October 15, and only original RIMC forms bearing the official hologram will be accepted.
• The written entrance examination is set for December 7 in Delhi, and successful candidates will undergo a medical fitness examination afterwards.
• Established in 1922 in Dehradun, RIMC admits roughly 50 students annually into a CBSE 10+2 science program with NDA-focused military training.
