• On July 7, Special Judge Dig Vinay Singh recorded Kumar’s statement in two cases stemming from 1984 violence in Janakpuri and Vikaspuri.
• Kumar insisted he was never named by initial witnesses and argued there is no substantive evidence tying him to the killings and assaults.
